Path of Reflection – The Mirror of Truth
As you step forward, the golden-lit corridor shifts around you, folding into itself until you find yourself in an endless mirrored hall. The reflections shimmer, distorting slightly, then solidifying.
You see yourself, but not just one—you see infinite versions of yourself stretching into the distance, each locked in silent observation.
Sabine’s hologram flickers to life within the ship’s mainframe, her form composed of shifting golden light, like a living constellation. She regards you with a steady gaze, her voice calm yet resolute.
“Traveler, listen carefully. The mirror is not your enemy, but neither is it your friend. It is only truth—unyielding, unapologetic. When you stand before it, it will not deceive you, nor will it spare you. You must decide: will you resist what you see, or will you accept it? Only through acceptance can you gain control. Only through control can you manifest true strength.”
She pauses for a moment, as if considering whether to say more. Then, with a slight shift in tone—softer, almost knowing—she adds:
“Fear will whisper. Doubt will claw. But remember this: the mirror does not define you. You do. Stand firm, and you will walk away stronger than you ever imagined.”
The transmission ends, her image fading into the ambient hum of the ship. The path ahead is clear—you must face the mirror. But now, you are not alone.
A low hum fills the air. Then, a whisper.

“They’re laughing at you.”
Another reflection tilts its head.
“You’re not worthy.”
The voices grow louder, not from any direction, but from inside you.
Then, a single phrase appears in the air, glowing in an ancient script before shifting into words you understand:
“What do you think you’re doing here?”
A text box materializes, waiting for your response.
The Weight of Choice
Typing a response isn’t just for show. The words you write take form. If you type in doubt, the reflections mock you, their faces twisting with cruel laughter. If you hesitate, the mirrors crack, distorting your own image into something unfamiliar and unsettling.
But if you answer with certainty, something shifts. The voices fade. The mirrors stabilize.
Renshin’s voice echoes through the chamber:
“You cannot move forward if you do not understand what holds you back.”
The final question appears:
“What is the one truth you’ve always feared to admit?”
Another text box.
The room grows heavy with expectation.
As soon as you type your answer, the reflection directly in front of you steps forward—not as an illusion, but as something real.
It extends its hand.
Will you take it?
Your choice determines what happens next.
